I'm in awe of this cheeky collection of furniture by Seung Yong Song. His "Objet" series works around the concept of "freeing" objects from their intended functions. I smirk when I see these designs because often we use a chair as a step ladder, or bookcase, or laundry basket, rather than a sitting surface. The last concept would be a fantastic public/private reading space - illuminated and womb-like.
