seastone works by mitsuru koga

Breathtaking stone work by Japanese artist Mitsuru Koga. Koga describes his work as an attempt to "create an intermediate bridge between nature and human beings."

In viewing his delicately refined work, it is not difficult to visualize the tender relationship between the sculptor and the stone. I love the stones personified with little legs!

On view in Venice, California at Tortoise until November 2nd.
