Why do drugs when you have art? That is my first reaction to the work of Felice Varini, who is no exception to this. He uses every day objects and spaces as his canvas, and he paints his geometric designs with a graceful precision that allows the subject to be truly understood from only one angle. The above piece was part of an exhibiton at the Musée des Beaux-Arts in Arras, France in 2007.
